The Guilty Crafter: Boo Bags (episode 1)
Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 07:02AM The shortest version of how the following video series came to be: My cousin Sarah met, fell in love with and married Kent Nichols, co-creator of the popular web series "AskANinja.com." Kent is a web series guru with a twisted sense of humor so it was probably inevitable that we would collaborate on a crafting show with a little bit of humor involved (although the photos he chose for the intro are purely his way of getting the last laugh- I voted for the ones that I heavily Photoshopped to make myself look cute and he chose the mascara tears ones anyway). In these videos, I craft, I confess why I feel guilty about how or what I'm crafting and I try to alleviate a little guilt by letting my kids help or trying to be more "green" about crafting and Kent captures it all, edits it in a way that makes me consider setting up a "Adult Children of Crafters" therapy fund for my kids. We post them and wait for your suggestions and comments for future videos.
And you? You watch, you like the videos on Facebook here , add GuiltyCrafter to your Twitter feed & click on the BlipTV icon (lower right hand side of the video) to get Facebook updates when we post new videos and let me know- does guilt ever enter into your crafting life?

I really liked it. I feel you on the Guilty crafting.... I too am a guilty crafter. I love to boo my neighbors too! Thanks for sharing your video with us.
Loved it!
Omgosh! This was a fun video. Very well done. I got a kick out of the still photos at the start & really liked the places where you popped in to have a private chat with us while Tabitha was creating.
Very funny. I loved the part with your daughter!! TFS!
Great intro! I have all the same guilt! Can't wait for more videos!

Fabulous! I love the concept and the project was fun. I don't understand why he chose the mascara photos though- they didn't really fit with the rest of it, IMO. Looking forward to the next one!
Love it Angela. I can relate to the guilty crafter that is me too. I cant pass up a good bargain and have WAY TOO many supplies that dont get used. Cant wait for the next video!!

Too cute Angela! You daughter is precious. Love the boo bag idea. We don't live in a small town, but I live in an apartment in a small building where we all speak to each other and some are friends too. So this might be a great thing to do. TFS

"Sometimes a mom crafter's got to do what a mom crafter has to do"...HA!
So. true.
I suspected this was the result of your collaboration with the viral video genius. Bravo! This is a most impressive presentation and seems a good fit for your "quirks".
I too am a guilty crafter and have been for over 50 some years, I beginning to think the hoarders show is coming to do a show at my house. It's a disaster. Yes I buy and I think I'll use it next year and then next year comes and I forget about it and the the sales comes along and I think, well next year. I have a stock pile of crafts and thinkets for all the seasons of the year. I have my own little shop. Just try to find it.
Loved your video and Yes I am GUILTY.
Thank you all SOOOOO much for the comments! I appreciate them very, very much!
I am so glad to see you back in Video Form!!!!! Yea, for all of us that have missed and love you!
That is really cool, I actually don't know how to do any of that stuff. Your daughter is very lucky to have a cool mom. Keep up the good work :]
