Great Week with the Fiskateer Fab 5
Friday, June 27, 2008 at 06:45AM
I believe that a picture is worth a thousand words but I can't help but add a few words to this collection of photos from my trip this week to Madison, Wisconsin (hold cursor over photos for captions). Our training to become the next Fiskateer brand ambassadors (aka Lead Fiskateers/ aka what I'm thinking of as the Fab 5) was amazing. After working as a corporate trainer for years and spending 2 years with Scrapbook LifeStyle, I can honestly say, as much as I've loved those jobs, Fiskars has it going ON. They GET it. The company is not about THEM, it's about US. We're the ones who use the products and need good quality crafting supplies (and CUTE ones!). If you always thought it would be fun to help shape the designs of products, the colors, the names and if you love Heidi Grace, Cloud 9, Lil' Davis, Kimberly Poloson, Ink by Steph and all the amazing punches, squeezes, stamps, trimmers, cutters, scissors and other products made by Fiskars, join me at www.fiskateers.com. We're a bunch of crafters who are shaping the direction of our favorite crafts supplies by naming the products, participating in surveys that are really listened to about new products and existing products and so much more. Mostly, we're making friends with other crafters all over the world. Do I sound excited? I am (and I'm not the only one!). Getting to be a Lead Fiskateer AND having a new Project Runway starting in a few weeks?! Can my summer GET better?!

Looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see everything start coming together next week. Congrats again Ang :)
Love it, can't wait until you take your place at the helm. Wish I was closer so I could dump gatorade over your head!
P.S. I won the Tinkering Ink contest-thank you. I've had pretty good karma wonder if it will roll over to the "bean"?
Love that photo of Kelly Jo finding the new stuff!
And what's with the hoe??? Internal joke? 'Cause I don't get it... maybe it's a language thing -ha!
Lene- HA! I just fixed that typo. I am NOT a hoe. I repeat... I am not a hoe... (which is a gardening implement anyway). LOL!
And Beth- Orange Gatorade I'm sure, right?
Meghan- thank you! I hope I get to meet you during this 2 year journey!
