My Birthday

Well, okay. My birthday isn't until next month but ever since I lost my fab BlackJack in November, I have been using an $18 go-phone and dreaming of an iphone. I can't help it- they're so COOL. I know this for a fact because each time I see a friend with one (and sometimes friendly but random strangers), I grab theirs, with permission, and try out a new feature. I've even visited the iphones in the Apple store a few times (did you know you can actually call out on the ones in the store? I wish I had a better memory for phone numbers because I usually can't think of anyone to call but my own home phone and leave myself a message: "I am calling myself from an iphone... I want one...it's so cool..."). I know this is another stumble for my carbon footprint but there you have it. I have a weakness for designer water AND electronics.
No help to my quest for the iphone is this new trimmer coming out from Fiskars. I got to see it when I was at Fiskars Headquarters and I don't know what was more fun, using it or seeing how proud the "Fisk-a-neers" were of it. Either way, it's CUTE AND I could play my future birthday iphone on it (hint, hint in case my husband is reading this). I think I'd load up a ton of programs from NPR and then, uh, rock (?) out to "This American Life" or "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me." while I was scrapping. How funny would that be? Again, I'm trying not to duplicate posts between Fiskateers.com and my personal blog but I couldn't resist this one- this trimmer even matches my blog theme! But in a week- I'm back to Project Runway posts! Woot!

I should mention- this trimmer works with any MP3 player- not just iphones or ipods (as far as I know). I just happen to WANT an iphone- lol. I've also had the chance to work with one and it is a nice straight cut. Very similar to my Fiskars Rotary Desktop trimmer that I love. Not sure the retail on this... I'll update when I get back from CHA with a new catalog =)

love the color and design on this! no iPhone or iPod here, so no real "need" for this trimmer! LOL!
That is awesome! I will have to give my old Fiskars to my son, so I can have the new one. I love to scrap to tunes, but hate to carry speakers for the ipod...very innovative! (not to mention pretty!)
I might just want to hang that trimmer on the wall so I could just look at it it is so pretty!!!
