My Carbon Footprint Needs Galoshes

I am in a constant state of carbon footprint guilt. I am shocked when I see how much trash we can generate as a family and I canceled my bottled water services ages ago and added a filter to the tap. But I have to wrestle with my carbon footprint demons when I see a new bottle of strange water at the grocery store. MetroMint Lemonmint water? Oh just one. And on sale? Only one, thank you. Ayala Ginger Lemon Peel water? Now why didn't I think of that? It's just water after all. And the tap water at my house is so... tappy.
P.S. I did finish that camping mini book. I posted it HERE. And by the way, hey Colette's friend- I thought you were going to sign up to be a Fiskateer?
Zarah- I don't really know what you mean by a soda machine but I want one now... and adding ginger... yummy. I'm going to try it.
And Melita- I have decided that I don't really like the minty ones (like MetroMint). They're good but a little mouth-washy. I did really like the Ayala ginger and rosemary, though.

We got ourselves a soda stream. Bubbles makes tap water a lot tastier in a "pssscht". ;)
(And try putting a few slices of cucumber in it - or bits of ginger or lemon, lime or orange... Yum! I don't like the store bought essences, but that's just me.)
It sounds tacky and outdated, I know (they tell me) but it is THE best thing we ever got. I love it! :D
so, are they good? do i need to be on the lookout for these?
I too am trying to reduce my carbon footprint.
I've saved all my breadbags - possible future craft project.
I've saved all my cardbord packaging - What am I going to make with all that cardboard I have no idea!
And all my packaging from my scrap supplies/tools..... hmmmm
so my scrap space is getting rather full of "rubbish" that I need to alter. lol
I've been trying to be good by buying stuff at the supermarket that has minimal packaging.
I know you love your lists. I stumbled across this site-thought you might enjoy.
